Yesterday was the OCB Gå Hjem. We had a lot to talk about with developments in offshore wind, different maritime industries and new business opportunities.

Vattenfall Wins Kriegers Flak

Kriegers Flak, at 600 MW, will be the largest offshore wind farm in the Nordics.

Today, it was awarded to the Swedish utility Vattenfall. The total investment will exceed €1,1 billion.

Bornholm is incredibly well placed to aid in the installation, construction and operation of the offshore wind farm. With our vast array of skills, services and experience, we can be a major benefit.

Wind Energy Denmark - The Annual Meeting

The OCB enjoyed the discussions at the annual meeting, conference, and fair at this years Wind Energy Denmark Annual Meeting.

There were some really interesting talks given by major OEMs, wind farm operators, research institutions and consultancies. The opening talks show key notes speeches from the CEO of Vestas: Anders Runevad (pictured below on the left), the Danish country manager of Vettenfall: Ole Bigum Nielsen, and the head of department: Peter Hauge Madsen. 

Vattenfall have had a lot of success in Denmark recently, they have been awarded Horns Rev III, and the near coast sites, Veste…
