Welcome BOFA to Offshore Center Bornholm
Offshore Center Bornholm is delighted to announce that BOFA, the Municipal Waste Removal System for Bornholm, have become a member.
There is a distinct and driven focus on the environment, BOFA has facilities around Bornholm that can recycle, reuse and produce heat from waste. Bofa has one of the highest re-utilisation rate in their waste handling: 65% of all waste received at Bofa is sent to be recycled and 26% is incinerated. For green waste there is composting facilities and with special facilties for the many visitors to the island each year.
We welcome BOFA and we hope to work together to enhance Bornholm's position as the green center of the blue Baltic Sea.
